159 and Other News

This morning my little friend, the bathroom scale told me I weigh 159 pounds.

SWEET! That brings the grand total up to 61 pounds, meaning I have 14 to go to be a "healthy weight". I seriously don't remember ever weighing myself and seeing less than 160 pounds. I remember when I got my driver's license when I was 16, I lied about my weight and said I was 160 but I was really 180. I vaguely remember being in 7th or 8th grade and weighing 160 pounds. I didn't ever really weigh myself before then. So I'm pretty sure I'm the smallest I've ever been since reaching my adult height. Crazy!

My size 8 jeans are starting to get really comfy. My size 10s seem huge now. I need to throw them on the growing pile of fat clothes (I really need to make a trip to Good Will and get rid of all that stuff.)

I don't know what I'll do when I start squeezing into size 6. I'm pretty sure that's one of the signs of the Apocalypse. I swear, I read it in the bible once. It's somewhere between the four horsemen and raining fire, something like that. Maybe when it happens, I'll finally burn the pair of size 22 pants that've been sitting in my closet for like, 4 years.

Here's a picture of me in my snazzy size 8 Levis

And just to show of my scooter, here's a picture of me in my snazzy size 8 Levis, sitting on my totally awesome scooter

In other news.....

We're moving to Tucson, Arizona. I got a job offer I just couldn't refuse. It's at Raytheon (the company I worked for in Virginia). They have a huge modeling and simulation department and they need a bunch of people. It's almost $10,000 more than I'm making now and they're giving me a $10,000 sign-on bonus, full relocation and another $5000 cash just for random moving expenses. It also looks like Sean will be able to transfer with his job so everything's falling into place. Houses out there are less than half what they cost here. I'm supposed to start on July 30th (the day after Nick gets back from scout camp).

Random thought of the day....

I think whistling while you work should be a capital offense. Someone at my work is whistling and it's driving me nuts.

KRISTY!! You look AMAZING! Seriously. Good for you, girl! And you're moving?? It sounds like it's for a good reason. How weird it was to read it while I was chatting with a friend of mine who LIVES in Tucson! Keep up the good work. I'm jealous (though I've lost 10 lbs and down to 190, 10 away from my goal of 180). Hugs,
Sean
